THE FIRST PROTOTYPE YEAR 1996 |
For Carlo Cantini music is geografy, a territory defined by borders whereas musician's only change is to overcome them. The point of departure is represented by his classical background through the Conservatory of Mantua, while the rest is adventure. Classical and improviser violinist but also composer and arranger, he moves with a declared preference for classical, jazz, fusion and experimental music. He defines a dual Pick-up, after a three years study, provided with a rich, dynamic and natural sound adding to instruments an output compatible with the modern "Pitch-to-MIDI converter". He redesigns the forms of instruments, bringing them back to their essential, respecting the Italian design. Dedicated to all those musicians that like him play the violin, cello, viola and double bass also in non classical manners, the CANTINI instruments are entirely hand made and Italian (Mantua) products. |
